Teacher - St Agnes Catholic HS
At St Agnes Catholic High School, I facilitate stage 5 Y9 and Y10 students learning Graphics Technology while applying traditional drawing methods using the art board, t-square and set squares with pencil on paper in conjunction with digital methods of CAD, bringing into play product development platform, OnShape.
My role as classroom teacher also includes stage 4 Digital Technology, Textiles and Art classes with Y7 students as well as Y8 Food Technology students where they learn how to cook and prepare a meal for themselves and for the family.
2022 - 2023
Teacher - Penola Catholic College
Provided both Stage 4 and 5 students with the knowledge and understanding in multiple areas such as Timber, Engineering, and Textiles in TAS as well as Year 9 students the Photography and Digital Media syllabus, incorporating the creative use of Adobe Photoshop for photo retouching and image manipulation as an art form and as a creative source of expression.
Students where guided in applying visualising techniques to photographs taken as a method of developing theme, changing concepts, and controlling imagery by using the tools, layers, channels and Photoshop features that included curves and levels to change a photograph and create artwork to represent new ideas.

While undertaking The Graduate Certificate in Marketing at RMIT, I created and developed my own design agency and worked with local clients in the Blue Mountains to develop and help build their brands and grow market share at a community level.
And then we had COVID - leading me to immerse myself in study and complete a Master of Teaching in Secondary Education at Western Sydney University between 2019 - 2021.

Scribing and visualising conversations graphically on the whiteboard and on foam core - followed by digital renderings to produce icons, images, illustrations, typography and diagrams for better visual communication.

At 121 Creative Circular Quay, I assisted clients with a range of creative services including branding, signage, print design, websites, and marketing support for the city's financial institutions. There was no limit to the creativity as we always provided something different to impress the client who in turn continued to provide our studio with more work.
